environnement.
ANTIPROFESSIONAL because it is not about making
something perfect, but about revealing particularities and limits.
Particularities - as every material and structural principle has several
specific characteristics that can be revealed by a concept that highlights the differences.
It means that the concept shouldn’t look for something universal, but for
something that reflects a potential of different materials and structural
principles.
Limits - as every material and structural principle has its logic that
cannot be exceeded. It means that in a given concept everything is not
possible, but the concept should give a possibility to play with the limits.
The possibility to reveal the limits, gives a possibility to understand the
very logic of the concept.
LOW-TECH because it is not about achieving a
final product, but about making the process of design endless and tangible.
Endless, as one is invited to add or to remove elements that constitute
the object as often as it is needed. It means that the concept of design does
not define a form, but a structural principle. The form is made and re-made by
the one who lives with it.
Tangible, as the structural principle reveals the relations between the different
elements that constitute the whole. It means that the whole is not made of
something that is merged into one, but of visible co-existence of different
elements. And in order to change the whole, one can change the relations
between the different elements.
CREATIONS because it is not about following a
function, but about reinventing the environment we live in.
The environment we live in shouldn’t be just made to contain in a most
functional way ourselves and everything that we possess. It should be made of
possibilities to re-invent constantly the place that is given to us and to
everything that surrounds us, by the one who lives in this environment. It is
about permanent interaction.
